  1. How does this whole auction work?
The art pieces will be sold to the highest bidder at the Live Auction on May 21, 2010. The art can be browsed online, but there is no online bidding.
2. Are the photographs totally reliable?
The photographs may not be totally accurate in their representation. To be sure you understand exactly what you are buying we recommend you attend the auction on May 21, 2010. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased by contacting, Director of Development, Anne Omundson at 603-228-1193 or via email aomundson@friendsprogram.org
3. When do I pick up my item if my bid is the winning bid?
Winning bidders should pick up their items at the close of the live auction on May 21. The auction should be over by around 9:30pm. The auction will be held at the Grappone Conference Center, Concord, NH. You may make arrangements for someone else to pick up your item for you, but you must give us their name in advance. Please understand that we MUST have all items picked up the night of May 21.
4. When is payment due from winning bidders?
Payment in full is due the night of the Live Auction -- May 21. Cash, check, Mastercard and VISA are accepted.
5. Can I return the item once I own it?
No. A winning bid is considered a non-refundable purchase.
6. Can I use the purchase of this item as a charitable tax deduction?
Probably not. You would need to demonstrate that the amount you paid for the item was in excess of it's 'fair market value', which for an item bought at auction is typically quite difficult. You should consult a tax professional for advice about your individual situation.
7. How is the money from the auction of the art used?
The money raised from the live auction helps to expand or enhance services to homeless families, youth, children, older adults and people living with disabilities.

The Friends Finding Friends Event has become the agency's signature fundraising event. It has become a major tool in providing awareness in the community about the services we provide.
