"Canterbury Shakers"   by Sue Hodgkins

Inspired by the "Shaker" Blanket Chest the artist decided to paint a scene of Shaker Village in Canterbury, NH.  It is painted in acrylics in the Rufus Porter Style of painting.  Rufus Porter painted murals in hundreds of homes throughout New England from 1825-1845.
