"Arts & Crafts Tabouret"   by Susan Sawyer

The artist's piece was influenced by the Arts & Crafts movement from around the turn of the century.  The "tabouret" was a popular form at the time, and can be used as a night stand, lamp table or plant stand.  Illustrations are painted on the top and all 4 sides, which feature wildlife and other motifs from nature.  The artist's inspiration came from the art of William Morris.
