"Arts & Crafts Tabouret"   by Susan Sawyer
The artist's piece was influenced by the Arts & Crafts movement from around the turn of the century. The "tabouret" was a popular form at the time, and can be used as a night stand, lamp table or plant stand. Illustrations are painted on the top and all 4 sides, which feature wildlife and other motifs from nature. The artist's inspiration came from the art of William Morris.
