It is with great excitement that I accept the invitation to join the Friends Program at this time in its life. A recent transplant from Northern New Jersey, Ihave been warmly welcomed to Concord and to this phenomenal organization by the board of trustees, the staff and our wonderful volunteers. The Friends Program has a long and successful 42 year history of serving New Hampshire’s residents through its various Programs and I am keenly aware that I stand on the shoulders of the great men and women who have made the Friends Program what it is today.
As I settle in to Concord I plan to learn as much as I can about this great community by visiting its people and its places. I am particularly interested in meeting those that have generously given of their time, talent and treasure to support the work of The Friends Program. This sacred investment has and will continue to yield results. In some cases this investment has changed the trajectory of a child’s, families’ or a senior’s life. This is nothing short of spectacular. And it humbles me.
I look forward to meeting you at your school, your organization, your church or at your favorite coffee shop. Feel free to stop by the Friends Program. The door is open daily and a hot cup of coffee or a cold soft drink is always waiting.
Thanks for the Warm Welcome. Hope to meet you soon.
