Donate your "Nearly New" Furniture, Housewares and Clothing to EH

Often times families arrive at the Emergency Housing Shelter with nothing but the shirts on their backs. Through the generosity of individuals and businesses we are able to provide basic living necessities to our shelter residents as well as assistant families moving into their own homes.

We ACCEPT the following:

  • Clothing - infant, children, women and men.
  • Housewares - dishware, pots & pans, utensils, small applicances.
  • Domestics - blankets, linens, pillows, towels, etc.
  • Furniture - functional and without stains, tears or unpleasant odor.
  • As shelter residents move into their own homes, we like to provide them with a "Home Essentials Kit". This kit contains items such as: cleaning supplies, a trash can, shower curtain, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans along with glasses and dishes. All of the basics to make their new place a home!

If you are interested in making a donation, please stop by the shelter located at 30 Thompson Street, Concord NH between 10:00am - 6:00pm Saturdays or Sundays. If theses times do not work, please contact the shelter at 603-228-1462 to set up an appointment.
