The 14th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting the Friends Youth Mentoring Program

Please join us on Monday, September 12, 2011 for the 14th Annual Friends Program Golf Tournament, which will once again take place at the exclusive Concord Country Club. This tournament is a wonderful opportunity to play golf at a challenging yet fun course while supporting the work of the Junior Senior Friends Youth Mentoring Program.

The event includes continental breakfast, a hot buffet lunch prepared by Alan’s of Boscawen, complimentary beverages throughout the event courtesy of NH Distributors, and a raffle with lots of great prizes. Space is limited, so sign up today!

Friends Youth Mentor program volunteers and program participants

Participation in our golf tournament supports our high-quality volunteer training and screening measures, case management and match support, sponsored group activities and outreach efforts. We currently have over 120 children in Merrimack County benefiting from a mentoring relationship with a Senior Friend. Research has illustrated that mentoring improves academic performance, ability to get along better with peers and family, and increased ability to resist poor choices.
