Partnerships with Community Organizations

The program receives assistance from a coalition of religious congregations that works cooperatively and in partnership with community health providers and human service agencies to compliment existing services, to prevent the unnecessary duplication of services, and to act as a focal point for collaboration among the faith communities.

These faith communities are:

  • Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
  • First Church of Christ, Scientist
  • First Congregational Church, UCC
  • Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church
  • Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church
  • New Hampshire Catholic Charities
  • Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church
  • Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church
  • Saint Paul Episcopal Church
  • South Congregational Church, UCC
  • Temple Beth Jacob
  • Wesley United Methodist Church

**** Membership in a religious organization is not required for participation as a volunteer caregiver or a care receiver.

“The Interfaith Caregivers Program has made a difference in my life. When I gave up my car, I lost all my independence. Because of the volunteers who drive to me to medical appointments I have it back. It means a lot to me when they wait for me in the doctor’s office. I also don’t feel so alone.”
