The Concord Boys and Girls Club named The Friends Program its 2010 Community Partner. This award was given in appreciation to the agency for its extradinary support of Club members and staff. For nearly a decade, the Junior Senior Friends Youth Mentoring Program has collaborated with the Boys and Girls Club to serve youth in the area that could benefit from a one-on-one mentor. This collaboration has evolved into a tremendous community service opportunity for local high school students who meet at 'the club' and emntor a member on site.
