The Director of Senior Programs is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) and Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), both of which are federal grant programs. Director is responsible for working with Corporation of National and Community Service to update, maintain, and understand granting procedures and regulations. The Director also works with and corresponds with numerous towns and cities within grant areas to prepare funding requests and respond to requisite reporting requirements. The Director assists in the formulation, development, recommendation, implementation, and administration of agency and program policies and business goals. The Director is responsible for the direct supervision of program coordinators as it pertains to all activities that are program related. The Friends Emergency Housing Program is seeking a qualified individual to staff Wednesday and Thursday 12a-8a at the Friends Emergency Housing Program (Concord) shelter for homeless families. Housing Counselors are helping professionals who are responsible for assisting our clients and implementing the program's policies and procedures in a manner consistent with the program's philosophy.

The Friends Program has an immediate opening for a part-time Program Coordinator in our Youth Menotring Program (24 hours a week).
Primary functions are to recruit and screen volunteers, match approved volunteers with identified children ages 6-17, and provide support for each of these 1:1 matches to facilitate enduring healthy relationships and successful outcomes. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for assisting with daily program operations.Duties include reception, the preparation of bulk mailings, the maintenance of office supplies, data entry, generating reports from various databases, copying, word processing, and general filing.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent of education and experience in youth mentoring, human services, counseling, social work, or related fields. Prior experience working with youth is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong sense of initiative and self-motivation to bring tasks through to fruition. Ability to work successfully within a team environs. Ability to work competently with community collaterals.
